How to do ARC registration in Korea?

If you will stay in Korea for more than 90 days, you have to register your ARC within 90 days after you arrive in Korea. Please check with the immigration office about the consequences of missing the deadline.

First time to get the E2 visa? then you need to register your fingerprints at the immigration office.

First, you need to make a reservation at hikorea.

Second, you go to the immigration office 20 min earlier than you made. ( The ARC issuance fee is 35,000 won )

Last, you go to the immigration office to pick up your ARC or you can order to post it to your school

Total process time depends on Immigration Office reservation availability

IMPORTANT

First, You have to register your alien card within 90 days after you arrive in Korea with the E2 visa (if you stay for more than 90 days)

Second, You have to get a sealed medical check (employment medical examination) from a hospital designated by the Ministry of Justice.( you can’t open it )

SECOND, GET A MEDICAL CHECK

THIRD, MAKE A ONLINE HIKOREA RESERVATION

FOURTH, COLLECT ALL THE DOCUMENTS

LAST, GO TO THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE AND REGISTER YOUR ARC

If this is not your first time to get an E2 visa ?

You do not need to register your fingerprint. you just apply for the ARC

Your original passport

Application form ( there are 2 places you have to sign on the form )

A picture of you ( 3.5 X 4.5 sized )

A copy of the employer's business registration certificate

Confirmation of accommodation ( if the housing contractor is not you ) Click
