information from F6 to F5 visa

I would like some information about F5Visa at the moment I Have F6 Visa I am stay in Korea more then 5 year and I have a small baby.

This is David Lee who is person in charge of F5 (Permanent Residence) Visa. 

Considering your conditions, you may apply for F5-2 Visa (a spouse of Korean nationals).  

I would like to provide you with essential information as below.  

Basic requirements for F5-2 Visa

  1. You have to stay in Korea more than 2 years with F6 Visa. 
  2. Your income in last year should be more than GNI 1 time about 40 million won. 

  (Spouse and family members living together can combine the income)   

  1. You need to complete of level 5 of KIIP (social integration program) or get more than 60 points in the exam for permanent residence. 

  (If you have a child, there is special mitigation – KIIP level 4 completion will be allowed)

 

Documents to be prepared for F5-2 Visa

 

  1. Backup evidence for maintenance of your marriage (Photo, Message, Confirmation letter etc). 

 

  1. Detailed marriage certificate based on your wife. 

 

  1. Overseas criminal background certificate. 

  (It should be apostilled or confirmed by embassy in your country)
