The standard investment amounts under the Ministry of Justice Residence Manual (Sept. 1, 2026, p.382) are as follows.

General investment immigration – KRW 1.5 billion or more
High-amount investment immigration – KRW 3 billion or more (principal-protected, non-interest type only)
<< F-5 Visa >>
Continuous maintenance of the investment for 5 years or more under F-2 status (F-5-21; Residence Manual p.431, p.470). Retirement-immigration investors (F-5-23) must also hold KRW 300 million or more in domestic assets other than the investment (p.431, p.471).
