If you are looking to immigrate to Korea through investment, IISPB (public-interest project investment immigration) is one option
If you invest 1.5 billion KRW or more in a target designated by the Minister of Justice as public-interest project investment immigration (for example, a principal-guaranteed, non-interest-bearing deposit with a Korea Development Bank fund), the immigration office may grant you the F-2 residence status as long as you maintain the investment
If you maintain the investment for 5 years or more under F-2, you can apply for permanent residency ( F-5 visa ) subject to the requirements
For the retirement immigration investor route (F-5-23), the requirements additionally include domestic assets of 300 million KRW or more owned by you or your spouse, apart from the investment (overseas assets are excluded)
Your spouse and unmarried children can also apply for the F-2 residence status
