Hi,
I’m currently living in korea and am planning to work remotely for a french Company. I’m on a D-10 visa right now and was wondering if there’s any Visa available to accommodate Remote workers of campanies that don’t have a branch in korea. I’m currently eligible for F-2-7 but the immigration office told me my company needs to be in Korea for me to get an f-2-7.

Yes, it is.

Korean visas are issued for companies located in Korea only. 

Unfortunately, if you are on a D10 visa,

you will need to be hired by a Korean company as soon as possible,

or you will need to receive a dispatch visa after

establishing a Korean branch of a French company.
