start up a department in Korea

Hi,
We are going to start up a department in Korea, and now have a man in Korea to start up. He will now apply for a permanent VISA. Is it the D7 visa he needs?

Depends on your company type , your visa will be selected

If your company register a branch company here in Korea, then you can apply for a D-7 visa

If your company register a FID company here in Korea with 100,000,000 won investment fund then you can apply for a D-8 visa 

I don’t know what kind of visa your man has now therefore i don’t know what permanent visa you are talking about
